This website was originally created created with the help of Australian wizkid Todd Pettee,  using WordPress as a platform.  I will always be grateful to Todd for his help.  Following a webcrash, I reluctantly had to abandon the design Todd helped me to build, and the site has been rebuilt with the help of https://fixed.net/, whose services I would recommend.

Are you doing research?  Do you need good quality second hand books at affordable prices?  I cannot recommend Abebooks too highly.  Go  to http://www.abebooks.co.uk/  Enjoy!

This is purely personal, but if you are interested in chess or art (or both), you might find my husband, Martin Smith’s blogs of interest. You can find an index of his art blogs at http://lostontime.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/lost-in-art.html  and his chess blogs at http://lostontime.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/lost-in-history.html. You can also find some of his older posts at http://streathambrixtonchess.blogspot.co.uk/.   If you are particularly interested in all things Bloomsbury, you can find a linked series, Played on Squares, at http://streathambrixtonchess.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/played-on-squares-1-keynes.html
