BOOKS
Although I have earned my living helping other people, either by being a social researcher, an adviser and advocate, or an award-winning human right activist (you can see my CV here), I have always known that my true vocation was to be a writer. I have always written poems and short stories, and one or two novels that are probably best forgotten. Since I retired a decade ago I have written four books and a novella.
They are:
Big Stick and Little Stick: A Biography of Ka Cox and Will Arnold-Forster (biography)
All Things to All Men: the manufacture of the Rupert Brooke myth (historical biography)
Chantoiseaux (novel)
A Fragile Equality (novel)
Forgive and Forget? (a novella)
I am currently working on at least two other novels.
